Saturday 28 November
1 - 4pm (ride starts at 2pm)
Bike Hub Queens Wharf to Silo Park

Grease your gears, gather your whānau and get ready for Kidical Mass - which returns to Auckland this November for the first time since 2022.

Kidical Mass is a free group bike ride for tamariki and their whānau, and will begin at Bike Hub Queens Wharf from 1pm on Saturday 28 November. Kidical Mass is more than a ride, it is a fun afternoon to get families out and about to promote riding a bike as a climate-positive transport choice. Feel free to dress up - capes, colours, onesies, pajamas, anything goes!

The ride starts at 2pm, but arrive early to add pizzazz to your wheels and play bike games, before we gather to ride to Base Spaces near Silo Park.

At Base Spaces expect more activities, a chance to win spot prizes for the whole whānau as well as some healthy snacks on us.

Come along and reconnect with those from the ride four years ago, or for first timers, come and meet some like minded individuals and create a positive vision for the future where all children and young people can safely and independently use bikes as a mode of travel.

1pm: Gather at Bike Hub Queens Wharf for pre-ride bike decorating and play
2pm: Ride to Base Spaces begins
2:45pm: Arrive at Base Spaces for post-ride activities and healthy snacks
4pm: Event finishes
