Come along to Te Ara Tukutuku Project Hub on Saturday 7 November to play your part in the regeneration of Wynyard Point.
Project partners Uru Whakaaro will be at the Hub to talk about the native plants that have been chosen for the project, why they were chosen and what they need to grow. They’ll also lead planting sessions, giving you the opportunity to plant and nurture the seeds that will grow into the very plants that will be used on site.
Our friends at Red Boat will also be there on the day, offering free trips around the headland so you can view the project from a new perspective, and as always there’ll be lots of whanau-friendly educational activities on offer, too.
