New this Season at Silo Park:
Kids are a huge part of the Silo Park community, so it’s pretty important there are activities just for them... and to give Mums and Dads a bit of down-time. Silo Stories is a Sunday afternoon activity for the littlies (and not-so-little) to sit back and relax, while listening to stories being read by various well-known local personalities.
Silo Park’s always been about getting together and getting involved, and there’s no better way than a good ol’ singing session with a couple of thousand people. Singing contemporary classics, with lyrics projected on the silo, it’s Auckland’s biggest choir - with voices travelling from the Shore to Howick, over the Waitaks and down to Manurewa.
Silo Crafty Zone
The Silo Crafty Zone is popping up at Silo Park every Saturday from midday. Nestled in amongst the Silo Markets, it's a family-friendly space where anyone can sit and draw, colour, craft and create. On special occasions the Silo Crafty Zone will host interesting workshops, run by talented people from around New Zealand.
Silo Produce Market
Check out the brand new Silo Produce Market, from 12pm - 3pm. An exciting addition to Sundays at Silo Park, with fruit and veg, coffee and baked goods. It's a market for visitors and inner-city inhabitants, and for those who like Sunday sleep-ins! It's a market that supports local owner-operators and growers. It's a market that's only going to get bigger and better... watch us grow.
Skinnies is a new kind of sunscreen that’s not diluted with water, so a little goes a long way. It dries quickly, has no parabens or preservatives, and is SPF30 (even after 80 minutes in the water)! That's why we're proud to have Skinnies on board as the official sunscreen for Silo Park Season 6. Keep an eye out for the Skinnies Sun Hut and get your free sunscreen, so you can stay safe in the sunshine!
