Mānawatia a Matariki! | Celebrate Matariki!
Join us at Silo Park for a whānau-friendly celebration as we experience the switching on of the Matariki Vector Lights on the Harbour Bridge, and welcome the arrival of temporary neon artwork Whai by Janine Williams.
About Vector Lights:
The light show will start at 6pm and replays every 15 minutes until midnight. The opening show at 6pm will be accompanied by a live performance by Majic (Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei).
Vector Lights is powered by a mix of leading clean energy technology, including solar, battery and peer-to-peer systems, and transforms the Waitematā as a guiding light toward a smart energy future.
Whai public artwork by Janine Williams will open on the Silo Park Gantry and be in place until September.
