Where is Silo Park?

Silo Park is situated in the Wynyard Quarter – an area of exciting revitalisation in the heart of Auckland’s waterfront. Wynyard Quarter is to the west of Viaduct Harbour (and the CBD as a whole!) and north of Victoria Park in an area that was once known to many Aucklanders’ as the Western Reclamation, or the Tank Farm.

Head towards Wynyard Quarter and you’ll find Silo Park on the corner of Jellicoe and Beaumont Street – just look out for the giant Silos!

How to get there?

We encourage you to use public transport, walk or ride down to Silo Park.

Bus

If you are heading to Wynyard Quarter from the city-centre then we recommend catching the City Link. It will transport you to the closest stop at Silo Park which is 63 Jellicoe Street (Stop #1061). As you step off the bus turn left and walk for about 1 minute until you reach the Silos. For more information on the City Link bus click here and for other bus routes in surrounding areas visit Auckland Transport

Walking from Britomart

From Britomart, Wynyard Quarter is a short 10-minute walk down Quay Street, on to Te Wero Island and across the new Wynyard Crossing bridge.

Biking

Ferry

From the main Ferry terminals, Wynyard Quarter is a short 10-minute walk down Quay Street, on to Te Wero Island and across the new Wynyard Crossing bridge. Visit the Fullers website for more information on Ferry schedules.

Driving & Parking

There is currently a lot of renovation and construction occurring at Wynyard Quarter, we therefore recommend taking use of other available transport as there will be limited parking and street access.

If you are entering from Fanshawe Street take either Halsey or Beaumont Street onto Jellicoe Street.

If you’re coming from Downtown Auckland, Viaduct Harbour or Te Wero Island, the Downtown car park is the most convenient - 31 Customs Street West.
